@@Big-Modeller Je dis ça car je suis en train de monter ce kit. C'est d'ailleurs ma première boite de chez "éduard" ! Cela pour dire que je sais apprécier la qualité de votre réalisation. J'ai choisi la version Djibouti et on arrive à quelque chose d'assez fin et de détaillé pour un 1/48. Cela dit, même si tout est finement moulé et détaillé, ce kit comporte quelques inepties de conception, non ?

Bien sûr, ce modèle présente des défauts - comme presque tous les modèles. Il faut mettre un peu de mastic autour des entrées d'air Cependant, pour un prix aussi bas, nous obtenons un excellent modèle.

@@Big-Modeller Tout à fait, c'est ce que j'ai inclus à mon commentaire d'ailleurs. J'ai été simplement surpris, voire choqué, de la manière dont le concepteur a par exemple intégré les trains d’atterrissage ou les pièces transparentes par exemple. On en parle, c'est tout.

I did it because, in the natural colour, it was hard to notice it was even there. Painted black it is more distinct at least on the white background.

Kilka razy z ciekawości zapisywałem to sobie i zwykle wychodziło mi około 30-35 wieczorów pracy nad modelem. Czasami taki wieczór to 1-2 godziny innym razem pół godziny, różnie.

Mam kolejne pytanie czy ten kolor a001 będzie nadawał się do pomalowania f4u 1d z tamiya ten z żółtym przodem

Na szybko przejrzałem instrukcję do tego modelu Tamki o którym wspomniałeś (polecam scalemates.com) i tam producent poleca kolor AS-8 Tamki. To jest o wiele jaśniejsza barwa (mój Wildcat jest bardzo ciemny, prawie czarny). Odpowiednikiem AS-8 z palet Hataki wydaje się być Hataka C274 Cobalt Blue, ale za to nie dam sobie obciąć ręki, musisz sam poszukać. Są też dedykowane zestawy barw do samolotów US Navy z czasów 2WŚ na przykład Hataka albo Vallejo.

Sprawdziłem ten kobalt blue i jest podobny ale nie ma go w wersji blue line a maluje pefzlem

No to lipa, trzeba szukać dalej ;)

I found the dimensions easily but those prefabricated slabs were different even amongst airfields in Poland. I guess every country has its own rules and regulations in this matter.

Cześć :) Nie podam Ci niestety dokładnych namiarów na farby gdyż jak sam wspomniałeś, model ten robiłem wiele lat temu i jeśli nie uwieczniłem farby na filmie to nie przypomnę jej sobie raczej. Jednak starałem się wybierać kolory mniej więcej zgodnie z instrukcją, a ta zaleca żeby butle miały kolor jasnoniebieski. Nie kupowałem specjalnie dokładnie tej barwy, którą podał producent bo zwyczajnie nie miałem na to kasy ;) jednak miałem jakiegoś jasnoniebieskiego Humbrola który wydawał się mieć odpowiednią barwę (na oko, patrząc na zdjęcia innych modeli) - niestety prawdziwy Karaś nie istnieje aby znać barwę na pewno. Kolory foteli to któraś z brązowych Tamek - chyba Nato Brown - aby imitować skórzane obicie, jakiś Sandgelb by imitować brezentowe pasy no i srebrny na oparcie jeśli dobrze pamiętam. Do barw zewnętrznych powierzchni się lepiej przyłożyłem bo zakupiłem zestaw Hataki do polskich samolotów sprzed 2 Wojny Światowej, który zawiera dwa warianty polskiego khaki i odpowiedni odcień szaroniebieskiego na spód skrzydeł.

@Big-Modeller Well there's no other place in the apartment where I could organize my workplace, plus we have quite big balcony and here's really warm because of the good double glazed windows, so why not? :)) Plus all the ventilation system from the spray booth are going right out the window :))

Now it makes more sense ;)

Jesteś bardzo spostrzegawczy, to dobra cecha u modelarza, gratuluję ;) Zwyczajnie się pomyliłem. Zawsze można odkleić i zamienić.

@@Big-Modeller Sama instrukcja "step 30" wprowadza w błąd ! poskładałem tak jak w instrukcji i jest źle :( Dzięki za sposób montażu kół, dobra kolejność było łatwiej ustawić w linii i pionie za pomocą drewnianego klocka udało się idealnie ustawić koła.

I do. It's especially important because the next step after decals is wash. Cleaning the wash could destroy the delicate decals if they were not protected.
